Over the past two decades, Amorette Jones has built a reputation as an innovative studio executive, who consistently re-invents the standards of marketing. In addition to creating the first dedicated movie website for Stargate, she was the first to leverage the power of the internet for The Blair Witch Project, widely praised as the most successful marketing campaign ever Jones also paved the way for digital distribution with the launch of Standing in the Shadows of Motown, which enabled studios to increase revenue by eliminating the cost of striking prints. In 2013, Jones founded Pivotal Entertainment, splitting her time between Los Angeles and Beijing to focus on progressive media technologies, which the Chinese were mastering as their film industry’s success skyrocketed in both attendance and revenue.

As a studio executive (Sony, Universal, MGM, Artisan, Orion), she played a key role in the revitalization of the James Bond franchise, and oversaw marketing campaigns for Academy Award© winning films by Robert Redford, Francis Ford Coppola, and Martin Scorsese.

Jones has brokered cutting-edge partnerships between entertainment and consumer brands, including Microsoft, BMW, PepsiCo, Dole Foods, Revlon, Cartier, Converse and Tommy Hilfiger and has earned numerous professional awards, including Advertising Age Top 100 Marketer of the Year, Advertising Age Top 1,000 Ideas of the Decade, Licensing Magazine Top 40 Under 40, Publicist Guild Honor Awards, the Webby, and various “Best in Show” creative awards.
